Position Summary
Pilgrim School seeks a part-time, dynamic Dance instructor to work with our amazingly brilliant, talented young students ages 18 months to 4th grade. We love to dance and we seek an experienced dance teacher to help us keep growing in hip-hop, lyrical, latin, jazz and yes, even some ballet. Our students shine on stage so our Dance Teacher will spend the year preparing us to shine for our loved ones. If you love young children and love dancing, this could be your next amazing job!
Major Areas of Responsibility
● Teach dance (many types) to all Early Education and Elementary (K-4) students. Classes range from 20 minutes (youngest) to 40-45 minutes (upper elementary).
● Produce and create an inspiring dance concert in early March of each year.
● Participate in the larger Pilgrim School Community events when requested (Open House, Arts Festival, etc)
● Ensure our students love movement, love dancing, and have fun!
Required Qualifications
● Early Childhood teaching experience and/or Elementary teaching experience and/or experience teaching dance to young children is required.
● A love of young children and dance as a form of expression.
● Strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and the ability to inspire others is desired.

Preferred Background
● Dance Instruction experience required.
● Super creative, out of the box thinker who loves to produce a big show!
● Patience, kindness, and a love for children are a must.
Salary Range and Benefits
The stipend for this position is $14,000.00 for the school year and the number of hours is 6 per week. There are no benefits offered for part time positions.
Timeline and Start Date
