The Archer School for Girls is currently seeking a temporary Technology Associate to work from May until September 2025. The Technology Associate is responsible for resolving common and everyday service requests relating to Macintosh and PC systems, network, hardware and software problems and malfunctions, providing technical guidance, assistance, and follow-up on all IT inquiries. The Technology Associate is part of the Technology team and reports to the Director of Information Technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include:

·         Collaborate with the Tech team on maintenance and deployment of Archer’s 1-to-1 laptop program

o    Process Apple Repairs

o    Prepare new Apple laptops for deployment

o    Assist in reformat/annual maintenance of faculty, staff, and student Apple laptops

o    Perform maintenance on Windows PC/Laptops as needed

·         Review and assist with Tech Help Desk Requests

·         Assist Dir. of IT with clerical paperwork, purchase orders, credit card reconciliation, and other tasks

·         Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Basic knowledge of current Mac OS and Windows operating systems 

·         Basic knowledge of computer networking systems, software, hardware, and functionality

·         The highest level of integrity and work ethic

·         Collaborative work style

·         Must be professional, mature, and diplomatic

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Physically able to lift 50 pounds and perform moderately strenuous tasks (e.g. carrying computer equipment up and down stairs) and to climb ladders to access equipment and wiring

Required Education & Experience:

·         Information technology or comparable work experience preferred
