Job Title: Part-Time Temporary Assistant Athletic Trainer

Pay Scale: $32.00 - 42.00 per hour and commensurate with experience
Position Overview:
Marymount High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part-Time Temporary Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our staff. The ideal candidate has the clinical skills to assist in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be available to work mornings, evenings, and varying hours as needed to support the Head Athletic Trainer and the athletic program’s needs.
Responsibilities

Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Provide coverage for practices and games as assigned, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and summers.

Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with athletic training facilities, including maintenance of supplies and equipment as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation of injuries, treatments, and athlete health records in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.

Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, physicians, and school administrators regarding athlete health and safety.

Support return-to-play decisions and concussion management protocols under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer.

Ability to create weight-lifting programs, sport-specific for female athletes.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, or related field.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Certification/licensure as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of Certification (BOC).

CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Commitment to student well-being, character development, and a healthy school culture.
Preferred:
-
Previous experience teaching or working in a high school environment.

Knowledge of best practices in injury prevention and physical education pedagogy.

CPR/First-Aid/AED Instructor for AHA, or ARC
