The Lasallian District of San Francisco New Orleans is seeking a Director of Sustainability.

This leadership position provides support and services to the Brothers and apostolates of the District of San Francisco New Orleans to enhance their financial and mission sustainability. The Director of Sustainability joins a team of dedicated educators and leaders who live, work, and travel throughout the eight state, Western to Southeastern District landscape of the United States. The support, services and accompaniment provided by the District team intend to foster and strengthen the Lasallian Catholic mission of each of the 20 schools and apostolates of the District.

The Director of Sustainability brings school-based financial leadership experience, strategic financial advising and hands-on support to school Boards, CEO’s and Finance Personnel through a variety of pro-active and responsive means. The Director also will serve as a Trustee of the Lasallian Education Corporation (LEC), the corporate structure within the District of San Francisco New Orleans whereby the Brothers of the Christian Schools maintain their canonical responsibility. The Director will be a dynamic leader committed to the De La Salle Christian Brothers’ mission of providing a human and Christian education to the young, especially the economically poor and marginalized.

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is required (MBA preferred). 
• A minimum of five years in a senior finance managerial position in a high school setting is also required. 
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CPA) is preferred. 
• This position requires the ability to travel frequently, with remote work capabilities depending upon the Director’s geographic considerations.
• This person will be a team player who possesses excellent listening skills, is a self-starter and views their educational service as a calling.

Commencement: December 1, 2025 preferred; July 1, 2026 at the latest. Salary/Benefits: Competitive salary with full benefits.
