Viewpoint School is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Middle School Student Supervisor to support and enhance student life within our Middle School community. This individual will play a vital role in fostering a positive campus culture, encouraging student engagement, and helping uphold behavioral expectations that reflect our school’s values.
Working closely with faculty, staff, and administrators, the Student Supervisor will help ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where students can thrive both socially and academically.
Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor student interactions and promptly communicate concerns to the Head of Middle School, Assistant Head, Dean of Students, and School Counselor
- Uphold school rules and model positive behavior in the community and common areas after school
- Maintain an active presence during community time, lunch, and other unstructured parts of the school day
- Supervise Middle School students during after-school hours until late bus departures
- Serve as a substitute in classes when required
- Participate in faculty carpool duty and other supervision-related responsibilities
- Provide regular student behavior updates to the Middle School Student Support Team
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and community building
- Ability to lead with empathy, fairness, and consistency
- Prior experience working with middle school-aged students is preferred
- Reliable, proactive, enthusiastic, and a collaborative team player
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
