    OUR MISSION

Notre Dame High School, a Catholic college preparatory school in the Holy Cross tradition, educates the hearts and minds of students who are diverse in talent, ethnicity, and society. As a faith community, Notre Dame strives to provide each student with a rich academic background, an appropriate sense of self, an opportunity for growth, a commitment to family, community, nation, and the world, and respect for the spiritual dignity of all persons.

    OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The DEI Director is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the President and the Principal and serves as a member of the senior leadership team, academic council, and admissions committee, working in collaboration with other members of senior administration. The DEI Director is a highly visible presence in the school community, engaging individually and collectively with students, faculty, staff, and the greater community. Guided by Catholic Social Teaching and the Holy Cross Constitution principles, the DEI Director will lead faculty, staff, students, and parents in best practices for growing hospitality, justice, and community belonging. Because the DEI Director will play a key role in strengthening the classroom experience by helping teachers become more culturally competent and more adept at culturally responsive pedagogy, he or she will be expected to engage faculty in one to two professional development sessions each semester.

See job description for more information.
