    Viewpoint School is currently seeking a Teacher of Film in the Middle and Upper Schools.

    Primary Functions:

    • Teach 5 classes total of MS and US film production electives. Classes meet for 70 minutes every other day.
    • Help Create MS and US Film Assemblies
    • Help facilitate and chaperone US Film productions and the Film IV Film Symposium
    • Participate in Viewpoint Arts Festival by organizing and chaperoning student showcases
    • Maintain equipment and studio space for video production and animation.
    • Deliver constructive, frequent and individualized feedback on all stages of student productions

    Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:  

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Video Production or a related field
    • At least 3 years of video production, filmmaking and/or Animation teaching experience
    • Proficiency with technology including but not limited to Adobe Premier and Creative Suite; Final Cut Pro; iMovie; Pro Tools; and Davinci Resolve.
    • Competency with basic word processing, educational technology, digital gradebooks, and facility with school website learning modalities including Google Suite.

    Compensation: Anticipated compensation is $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
