Salary: Annual salary range $85,000-$95,000.

Position Description
The Staff Accountant plays a crucial role within our four-person business office team,
overseeing full-cycle accounts payable, including employee reimbursements, corporate
credit card expenses, and expense reporting. Additionally, this position provides support for
student billing, collections, and performs thorough balance sheet account reconciliations
and income statement account analysis. The role actively contributes to the month-end
closing process, facilitates financial statement preparation for senior leadership decision-
making, and assists in annual audit, quarterly, and annual tax filings. This role reports to
the Controller.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, such as weekly check runs through 3rd party (Paymerang) payment system, accurate vendor records for 1099 reporting, proper approvals and follows company policies.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from accredited four-year college, or accounting experience

Nonprofit industry and/or public accounting experience preferred

Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT and Paymerang preferred
This job is a full-time, full-year, exempt position. It requires occasional evening and weekend commitments. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience. The position necessitates working onsite with some flexibility to work remotely in accordance with the schools remote policy.
