Auxiliary Programs Director

    The Auxiliary Programs Director develops, implements and coordinates the various supplemental programs, activities and events which expose potential students and families to Holy Cross values as part of the mission of Saint Francis High School. The Director will develop and support a short and long-term vision for programming for elementary and middle school students - during the summer and throughout the school year - that supports Admissions objectives of outreach and awareness. This role will actively partner with departments on campus to ensure programming is consistent and welcoming so experiences best represent Holy Cross. 

    Under the supervision of the Principal, the full-time Auxiliary Programs Director will be responsible for planning, program design, recruiting, day-to-day operations, market development, promotion, budgeting, monitoring, compliance, risk management, and evaluation of SFHS Auxiliary Programs. The Director will also work closely with the Facilities Director to oversee the scheduling of school facilities for all non-SFHS organization use. In addition, this role will be engaged with the Business Office to ensure programs and activities are fiscally sustainable while supporting school objectives. The Director will collaborate across all facets of Saint Francis High School to work to ensure the design of programs exceeds the expectations of department needs of academics, admissions, athletics, activities and other areas of the school. This is a full-year full-time position. Salary range is $85,000 to $115,000 depending on experience related to the position.

    Examples of programs managed by the Auxiliary Programs Director:

    • Summer at Saint Francis programs
    • Youth programming throughout the school year, including Advanced Camps
    • International trips not affiliated with immersions
    • Next Level Flag Football and Basketball programs
    • Athletic club practices and events
    • Programming for middle school students in partnership with Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science and VPA

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Oversee and manage all aspects of the auxiliary programs at SFHS, including program offerings, scheduling, recruitment and enrollment 
    • Provide website management for each related program
    • Act as the primary contact for recruiting, training, management and supervision of all supported programs
    • Market programs to the appropriate demographic(s) in partnership with program leaders
    • Work with SFHS MarCom to ensure marketing is aligned with SFHS guidelines  
    • Estimate the budget and manage income and expenditures for each program
    • Provide fiscal procedures and management systems designed to protect school assets and interests in accordance with sound business practices
    • Ensure facilities space planning and hospitality reservations are planned, budgeted, communicated and clear for each event and program
    • Ensure materials such as books, supplies, iPads, equipment, clothing or other items that are needed are identified and ordered in a timely manner in accordance with the budget
    • Provide support for registration for each program as appropriate to ensure consistency, accuracy and ease of use, while ensuring parents are supported through the enrollment and attendance process
    • Develop a vision for auxiliary programming that supports the overall mission and vision of Saint Francis High School
    • Identify additional opportunities for consolidating programs as appropriate
    • Other duties as assigned
