    Job Title: Seasonal, Part-Time Strength and Conditioning Coach

    Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday | 5:30 AM – 7:30 AM (Can change based on games and practice schedule)

    Department: Athletics

    Reports To: Director of Athletics

    Pay Scale: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour and commensurate with experience

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Part-Time Strength and Conditioning Coach to assist with early morning training sessions in the weight room. This individual will work directly under the guidance of the Director of Athletics and head athletic coaches, supporting athletes through structured strength and conditioning programs to enhance performance, ensure safety, and promote overall athletic development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with supervising and guiding athletes during strength and conditioning workouts.

    • Ensure proper lifting techniques and safety protocols are followed at all times.

    • Support the implementation of training programs developed by the coaching staff.

    • Provide feedback and corrections to athletes to improve performance and reduce injury risk.

    • Maintain a positive, disciplined, and productive training environment.

    • Monitor and report athlete progress or concerns to head coaches.

    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of weight room facilities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred.

    • Certification through a recognized organization (e.g., CSCS – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NSCA, NASM, or equivalent) required or in progress.

    • CPR/AED certification required.

    • Previous experience working with high school or collegiate athletes preferred.

    • Ability to work early morning hours and maintain punctuality.

    • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

    Working Conditions:

    • Active work in a weight room and athletic training environment.

    • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

    • Interaction with student-athletes, coaches, and athletic staff.
