Practical Guidance and Resources from Camp Fire Leaders

Casey Taylor, Superintendent, Achieve Charter Schools, and Mary Cox, Superintendent, CORE Butte Charter Schools have provided support to our school leaders as they navigate the recovery ahead. If your school suffered fire damage or your families have been impacted, these resources may be helpful:

First Steps for School Leaders Impacted by Fires
Your Playbook on How to Support Children, Youth & Families During & After a Wildfire

Community Tracker:

In collaboration with CAIS, CAPSO and Joffe Emergency Services, we’ve created a community tracker where you can share how the crisis is affecting your school and community, communicate needs, offer help, and find resources. Update the tracker (on behalf of your school only please) and consider helping where you can.

LA Fire Tool Kit and Webinars:

Joffe Emergency Services created a Fire Tool Kit, which is available to our schools for free. It has some fantastic resources and templates like checklists for post-evacuation re-entry, helping kids after a fire, air quality information, and what to do after a fire.
