Victor Rocha is the Founder and Managing Partner of Nelson Security Solutions, LLC, a security and emergency preparedness firm based in Irvine, CA. Victor has over 25 years of school and corporate security and emergency management experience.  As a former police officer and detective with the Los Angeles Police Department, he was assigned the specialized school car task force where developed security and emergency preparedness strategies for public and private schools in South Central Los Angeles.

In the last five years, Victor has turned his attention to assisting NAIS schools in developing comprehensive security and emergency management programs. Among his clients are The Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena, CA, The Town School for Boys in San Francisco, CA, and Head-Royce School in Oakland, CA.  These schools have been provided the tools to limit potential security threats as well as the procedures for the proper response should an emergency arise. Tailored to the individual needs of the schools, the programs take into account factors such as physical location and physical plant, as well as the age of the students and the experience and training of the faculty and staff.

Victor’s expertise in security and emergency preparedness has also assisted non-profit organizations (such as Goodwill Industries) and worldwide high profile corporations.
Victor is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.  He also is certified in international logistics security by United Stated Customs and Border Protection.  Victor earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton.
