Wage & Hours Workshop

Presented by Donna Williamson, Partner, Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, this workshop will provide an overview of the requirements of state and federal wage and hour laws.  We will cover identifying overtime exempt versus nonexempt positions, including coaches, outdoor educators, paraprofessionals, and others.  We will also review meal breaks, rest breaks, preventing unauthorized overtime and other wage issues that affect independent schools.  New wage and hour laws and recent court decisions will also be reviewed.
