    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Boys Lacrosse Coach

    St. Anne School, an independent Catholic School in Laguna Niguel, is seeking exceptional boys’ lacrosse Coach for Middle School.  We are looking for a talented, energetic, hard-working, team player to join our strong faculty.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acts as a role model of professionalism in a Catholic environment.
    • Supports the philosophy, policies, goals of the school, as well as the decisions made by Board of Directors and Administrators.
    • Insures the health, safety, and welfare of all students.
    • Holds in strict confidence all matters pertaining to school.
    • Adheres to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook and Employee Handbook.

    Position:

    The boys’ lacrosse coach would be responsible for developing the fundamental skills of the players, planning and organizing practice, coaching games, and serving as a leader and role model to the Middle School students of St. Anne School.

    When:

    Starts winter season around November 13th, and finishes with Playoffs around February 16th (excluding school breaks).

    Time requirements:

    Candidates must be available to work Monday through Thursday and the hours may vary from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.  Students do not practice or participate in games/tournaments over breaks or holidays.

    Qualifications:

    1. Candidates must be extremely reliable and able to meet with time requirements of the position.
    2. Must have playing/coaching experience in lacrosse.
    3. Must have a genuine love for children.
    4. Must be able to pass a background check.

    Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work outside; to stand for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate sports equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a balls or bats and to verbally communicate.

    Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

    Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
