    OVERVIEW

     

    The Admissions Assistant is essential to the school’s admissions efforts.

    The Admissions Assistant reports to the Director of Admission and Marketing and his/her associates. As a member of the Admissions team, he/she assists the team in all steps of the enrollment and re-enrollment process.

     

    This position is part of a vibrant Admissions and Marketing Office and is expected to employ a collaborative, service-oriented approach to the all projects and is expected to promote the school’s mission and vision and to advance the central values of the school.

     

    The Admissions Assistant will manage, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects at a time. The position requires excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work independently.

    RESPONSIBILTIES

     

    SUPPORTING THE RECRUITMENT EFFORT OF THE ADMISSIONS TEAM

    (Including but not limited to)

    • Acting as the first point of contact for most admissions inquiries either in person, by email or on the phone
    • Present school campuses, teams and programs during tours
    • Coordinate and assist in the execution of admissions events
    • Assist in the organization of assessment tests or observation sessions for applicant at all levels.

    DATABASE AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT

    • Contribute to maintaining the admissions database according to best practices and school systems which may include data entry, developing queries, ...
    • Receive, manage and enter applicant information on school database
    • Manage paper and electronic files
    • Provide student data information to requesting parties within the organization
    • Assist in communication to prospective parents from response to inquiry to acceptations decisions either by email or snail mail
    • General administrative tasks.

    CREDENTIALS – EXPERIENCE

     

    • Bachelor in administration or related field
    • ­ 2-5 years of experience as Admission Assistant
    • ­ Experience in marketing, sales, database management a plus
    • ­ Excellent English skills; French preferred but not required. Intercultural awareness, International experience preferred
    • ­ Knowledge of database management, especially Blackbaud products, preferred.

    PERSONAL SKILLS

     

    • A passion for customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
    • ­ Excellent organization and time management skills. The ability to work well with others in a high-energy environment. A friendly and positive attitude and the desire to work as part of a team.

    * This position requires car transportation to our 3 campuses and occasional evening and weekend work.
