A Message from our President

Welcome to Cal-ISBOA, the California Independent School Business Officers Association, and welcome to the Cal-ISBOA website, which has a lot of information about what we do and what we represent.

As you explore our website, you’ll see information regarding our professional development, our Annual Survey & resulting Report, our Annual Meeting (on May 3 in Los Angeles), and many other services that Cal-ISBOA provides our member schools. We are made up of a volunteer team of business officers working for the common good of all of our member schools, no matter how big or how small. We represent Business Officers and other administrators at 200 member schools in California and all California independent schools are welcome within the Cal-ISBOA community.

On a personal note, Cal-ISBOA helps me stay sane, enhances my professional skills, addresses issues, offers great professional development meetings and forums that address substantive topics; not to mention the enormous benefit of the annual survey of our member schools, which we think outdoes StatsOnline both for timeliness and usefulness. It is an organization of which I am truly proud to be a member and current Board President.
